The Pheasant Lodge boot room
The boot room at The Pheasant Lodge gives you space to take off walking boots, hang coats and dry outdoor gear after exploring the Lake District. Whether you’ve been out on the fells or caught in a shower near Cartmel, you can leave muddy footwear and wet layers here before settling into the house.
The boot room also has plenty of space to safely store a few bikes and other outdoor equipment during your stay. Garage storage is also available on request.
Washing and drying facilities
A washing machine and electric drying rack are provided for guest use, making it easier to deal with laundry during your stay. The drying rack is also useful for damp clothes after walks or days by the lakes.
There’s space to store boots and hang coats, plus a bench where you can sit to change your footwear. You’ll also find spare wellies and a separate WC.
A practical base for Lake District walks
Our holiday home is in Field Broughton, two miles from Cartmel, with space to get ready for a day outdoors and sort your gear when you return.
