The dining room at The Pheasant Lodge has a large table seating six, windows overlooking the private back garden and a games cupboard filled with board games and toys. Beside the kitchen, it’s a welcoming space for meals together during your self-catering stay near Cartmel.
Original parquet flooring and warm lighting give the room its character. Enjoy breakfast as you plan the day, gather for dinner after exploring the Lake District or stay around the table for another round of your favourite game.

There’s room for your whole group to eat together, whether you’re visiting with family, friends or as a couple. The kitchen is next door, making it easy to bring food through and chat while meals are being prepared.
A high chair is available for younger guests, and children’s cutlery is provided in the kitchen.
Board games and toys for quieter days
Our games cupboard has plenty to keep both children and adults entertained. It’s useful for rainy afternoons, evenings in or a slower morning before heading out to explore.
The Pheasant Lodge is in Field Broughton, two miles from Cartmel, and sleeps up to six guests across two bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge. You book the whole holiday home, including the kitchen, dining room, lounge and private gardens.
