The master bedroom at The Pheasant Lodge has a super-king bed, garden views and plenty of space to settle in. Our self-catering holiday home is in Field Broughton, two miles from Cartmel in the South Lake District.
Large sash windows overlook the trees and lawns, so you can enjoy the garden views from bed. Original shutters, a period arch and an old fireplace reflect the house’s Georgian character, while blackout blinds help keep the room dark at night.
There’s a comfortable seating area for reading, a large wardrobe for unpacking and an electric fire for cooler evenings. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or a longer holiday, there’s room to make yourself at home.
Your master bedroom in a Lake District holiday home
The master bedroom is on the ground floor and sleeps two. It’s one of two bedrooms at The Pheasant Lodge, which sleeps up to six guests with the lounge sofa bed. You book the whole holiday home, including the kitchen, living spaces and private gardens.
Our second bedroom can be arranged with twin beds or a super-king bed, giving families, couples and friends flexibility when planning their stay.
The lodge is entirely on the ground floor, with two internal single steps elsewhere in the property, one down into the bathroom and one up into the kitchen. If you have particular access requirements, please contact us to talk through the layout before booking.
